About Home Sweet Jones

Home Sweet Jones was created in the fall of 2022. Coming up with the name was pretty easy! We used the hashtag, #homesweetjones for our wedding. I still loved this hashtag and decided to use the name for my business. Baking out of my kitchen at home is a passion of mine and I love making sweet, scrumptious-tasting treats for family, friends, and others!

Although my degrees in health promotion and wellness and elementary education don’t pertain to the culinary arts, my education has been a blessing for several reasons. Part of my specialty at Home Sweet Jones is creating fun “mini” handheld love bites that are all made from scratch recipes. I know many would like to enjoy a sweet treat, but do not want to overindulge themselves. I do, however, create all regular-sized desserts as well.

My mini sweet treats are also for children as they’re handheld, colorful, and sometimes themed. I love spending time with young children as I’ve taught kindergarten. When I can put a big smile on their faces with a sweet treat, it truly warms my heart. I can’t wait to see what this new chapter has for me. This journey so far has been fun and so exciting! Cake pops, cake balls, mini/regular whoopie pies, and mini/regular cupcakes are all my specialties. I can also make other delicious treats that complement these desserts.

I can’t wait to continue my journey of providing homemade sweet treats (made out of my kitchen at home) for your special events!
